Scottish Communication Systems continues medical tradition

Perth-based Scottish Communications has continued its medical tradition through the recent installation of a complete state-of-the-art telecommunications system for the new purpose-built Crieff Medical Centre.

The completion of this latest contract follows the successful installation of similar telephone systems in Glover Street Medical Centre in Perth and the Grove Street Medical Centre in Dundee.

East of Scotland Business Development Manager for Scottish Communications, David Hay, says the company is proud of its growing partnership with the health service in Tayside and is looking to develop these links even further.

‘The systems we have installed incorporate the latest telecommunications technology which will help improve the efficiency of their day-to-day running. It gives us particular satisfaction to be able to help these medical centres.’

Jackie Dawson, the manager of one of the two practices based at the medical centre, said: ‘We’ve been impressed by the efficient and friendly service from Scottish Communications, which has helped to make everything run very smoothly.’

The latest installation for the Crieff Medical Centre involves the Samsung DCS with ISDN 30 digital lines and includes the advanced Cadence Voicemail system. This allows the two medical practices to have their own separate electronic mailboxes.
